Hugh Nivison, Wal Merriman and Brian van Rooyen were elected to the Australian Wool Innovation Limited (AWI) Board of Directors at the company's Annual General Meeting (AGM) this afternoon.
AWI Chairman Ian McLachlan congratulated the elected Directors and welcomed them to the Board.
"Last year the AWI Board instigated changes that opened up the election process and I am particularly pleased that at this election we had six candidates contesting for three Director positions. This is a healthy process," Mr MaLachlan said.
More than 200 woolgrowers attended the AGM and preceding information forum at Ballarat, Victoria.
