AWI Election Process Falters…. All Results now in Doubt

Chick Olsson, AWGA Chairman, is angered by the approach from Australian Wool Innovation to the serious breakdown of the voting process for the AWI AGM.

“With in excess of 30,000 woolgrowers spread right across the nation eligible to vote in the election, to mid way through the actual election, simply rewrite the rules is unacceptable”. an angry Chick Olsson states.

AWI must not attempt to gloss over this compromising of the election process, and the whole AGM must now be in serious doubt.

”AWI must immediately announce a public apology, and further must cancel the election and start afresh” says Mr Olsson.

Today I will be seeking consultation with the Australian Security and Investment Commission, ASIC, and the Federal Government and requesting a full and independent audit”

”AWI must not be allowed to throw all rules of corporate procedure in the bin”.
